Little Bee is a new and exciting early years learning and care facility.

First established in July 2007, Little Bee was a vacant building, which was designed and renovated by Kathy O’Neill, (owner and director) with the help and support of family and friends.

Little Bee is a small, personalised centre, specifically designed to suit the needs and interests of children aged 3-5 years.

The inside and outdoor environment is homely, comfortable, and very well-resourced with learning areas and equipment available for children to access at all times.

Kathy O’Neill has had extensive experience and training in early childhood education, including 9 years kindergarten teaching experience and has worked to open an early years unit in London for 3 – 5 year olds.   (Bachelor of Education, University of Tasmania, 1998).

The staff at Little Bee are very experienced (please see staff profiles for further information) and have developed a unique curriculum focusing on all learning areas, specializing in a ‘getting ready for school’ teaching program.
