At Little Bee we believe internal and external excursions are an excellent way to enhance our programs and involve the wider Community.

We take routine trips to the local park to learn about our immediate surroundings and other excursions to places, such as: the beach, supermarket, Arts Centre’s, museums, gardens, and environmental landmarks.

We have made links with several local primary/ high schools and colleges where we have both individual student and class visits.  We plan excursion experiences in conjunction with students undertaking Child Studies classes.

At times we invite shows, events or local services to Little Bee, such as fire fighters, police, and health care professionals to extend children’s interest in their immediate environment.

We have special celebratory days where we invite our families and friends to join in the festivities.
